FAQ's


How do I order a cake?

We have an array of designs on our “Cake Shop”. Simply choose your design and complete all details required. Be sure to allow at least 3 days business days notice.

 

The date I need my cake for is blocked out. Can I still place an order?

Yes you can but this is subject to availability. Contact us direct on 33556329 or pop in and our friendly staff will be able to assist you. Please keep in mind though that if you require something within 3 days notice of the pick up date a $5 late fee will be charged.

  

Do I need to pay a deposit for my cake order?

Yes we require at least a 50% deposit or full payment for all cakes and pre ordered items. Your order will not be made if payment has not been made. Credit card payments are taken over the phone. Please have your card details ready when making payments.

  

What cakes do you have in your emergency cabinet?

Our cake decorator will ice a variety of flavours, designs and sizes daily. If you need something last minute please give us a call and our staff can provide options available in our cabinet. They can sell out though so it’s best to call us first thing at 8am to reserve one. Please note that reserved cakes require a 50% deposit or full payment over the phone

  

How do I order a custom cake?

Do you offer wedding cake consultations?

Yes. After submitting a wedding cake enquiry on our "Wedding Cakes" page, our cake decorator will be in touch to book one in. They are held in store at Veganyumm Everton Park where you can browse previous designs we have made, discuss ideas and choose 4 of our cake flavours available to taste. Our cake decorator is available Mon-Wed 10-1pm. Appointments are necessary. If you are unable to attend within these times contact us and we may be able to meet when it suits you.

  

Do you have gluten free options?

Absolutely! We have a variety of flavours which we can be made gluten free. If you only have a handful of coeliac guests attending we recommend ordering our gluten free cupcakes.

 

How do I determine what size cake I will need?

How much notice do you require?

One month is ideal to ensure we have enough time to source any special decorating tools/supplies needed for your cake. However we can assist with as little as one weeks notice, subject to availability. The sooner the better to ensure you don’t miss out as we can book out during the busy wedding season.

  

How much are your cakes and why do I need to reveal my budget?

You can find a pricing guide on our wedding cake section. There are many details of a cake that affects its price. Providing your budget helps us determine what we can design for you. There's no point in offering a cake you had your heart set on, only to find out later that it's out of your price range. We want to get the ball rolling designing your cake and avoid wasting your time and ours.

  

Can your cakes be frozen?

Our cakes are always best eaten fresh but if you end up with plenty of leftovers you can definitely keep them in the freezer for up to 1 month.

 

Why are your cakes "so much"?

Our bespoke cakes are actually some of the most affordable cakes to other comparable bespoke cakes on the market. All cakes are made from scratch, in house and a lot of factors can determine the price. We pour our heart and souls into producing your dream cake and this process takes at least 3 days. Obviously there is the cost of all ingredients/materials used but a lot of people don’t consider the many many hours involved. There’s sourcing ingredients, prep time, baking time, cooling time, icing, decorating, assembly, storage and boxing it up safely. Not to mention research, time spent conversing, rent, utilities, council fees and insurance. All this is considered when determining costs of the products we produce.
